How Do i Run a Batch File Using WPP?

Seems in custom updates there are only two options: powershell and vbs. I'd rather not reinvent the wheel. I have a current batch script that customized a java install adding exception sites and adjusting security. Is there a way to use the existing batch file?

Thanks!

Last time i try to create a custom update, i can create a custom update with a batch.

You can write the exception sites in a file and publish the file with Group Policy Preferences to the clients. It is easier for me then creating a custom update.

You should be able to use the "able to execute a file..." option for a custom update. Refer to this post: https://wsuspackagepublisher.codeplex.com/discussions/584416. I used this method to push our Java 8 updates to a few of our client machines and the batch script runs fine.
