HP Broadcom driver from Catalog

could you please help with a driver installation issue on Windows 8.1 x64 clients?

Environment and steps
  1. WSUS running on W2012R2
  2. WSUS Publisher 1.3.1411.09
  3. Imported a driver from HP Catalog - Broadcom NIC Drivers for Microsoft Win7/Win8.1 -64bit []
  4. Approved on testing computers
  5. Clients are getting errors

error 0x80070643, is a generic code meaning that the installation failed.

Open WPP and connect to your Wsus server, select the update and, on the 'Informations' tab click on the 'Id' link. This will open a window, open the folder with the GUID and copy all files/subfolders to an USB key. On the test computer, run plug the USB key and run the main file. See if the installation perform as expected.
