There are already several topics about Java Updates but there is none with this question:

Everybody is talking about uninstalling all previous versions of Java with a script, with Uninstall2Install and so on...

What about the MODIFYREMOVE property in the MST file?

There are some old topics from older Versions of Java where you could use this Property to uninstall all older Versions?
Has anybody trieb this?

Another possibility for replication the old behavior of the Java Updates (Uninstalling the previous Version) is to create a custom Update and executing the two msiexec strings.
Uninstalling the old Version and installing the new one.

This was the reason for creating Uninstall2Install: http://www.wsus.de/uninstall2install
